Terms of Use
Effective August 25, 2026 (pilot draft). Governs website and later apps.
By using StreetEats you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 13. If you are 13–17, you must have a parent/guardian’s permission.
The service is informational. Locations, hours, menus, and OPEN NOW status can be wrong, late, or incomplete. You use them at your own risk. We are not responsible for a trip to a vendor who has left, a closed window, food quality, food safety, allergens, or how you are treated at a truck.
Not a health department. Owner verification and “permit on file” do not mean food is safe, that a permit is valid, or that we inspected anyone.
Accounts: you are responsible for your password and content. Do not impersonate a vendor you do not control.
Your content: you keep ownership of reviews and photos. You grant StreetEats a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of the service.
Acceptable use: no spam, harassment, fake check-ins, fake reviews, abusive scraping, or attempts to break the service.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ACCURATE LOCATION DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $50 OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS (CUSTOMERS PAY $0).
Vendors agree to indemnify StreetEats for claims arising from food, parking, permits, or listings. Governing law: California. Venue: state or federal courts in California.
