StreetEats provides a website (and later mobile apps) that help people discover mobile food vendors and help vendors publish locations, menus, and schedules.

- Accounts: display name, email, password hash (not the password), optional phone, notification preferences, favorites, reviews, photos, reports.
- Vendors: business name, published contact, check-ins, schedules, menus, payment methods accepted at the window, and private new-truck / permit files for review.
- Automatically: IP, device type, app version, approximate location from IP if GPS is off, security logs.
How we use it
To operate the map, Open Now, search, favorites, and notifications; to verify claims and moderate; to secure accounts; to understand product usage in aggregate.
What is public
Vendor listings, public photos, menus, schedules, check-in locations, and reviews are public. Precise customer location, email, and home address are never public. We do not ask for a home address. Permit files are not public.
